14 Months

Oh boy, I can't believe my little girl is 14 months old. (I'm a little late- she turned 14 months on 7/28). She is up to so much stuff these days. Although it's exhausting, I'm loving having a toddler. Here is what she has been up to, along with some photos from her 14-month photo shoot.

- Weighs a little over 20 lbs and is approximately 30 inches tall
- Wears size 12-18 month clothes
- Walking/running everywhere!
- If she falls, she can get back up without using a person/wall/etc. for help
- Loves to dance- her new move is clapping above her head while walking/dancing and the twist
- Loves songs, especially "Itsy, Bitsy Spider", "If You're Happy and You Know It" and "The Wheels on the Bus"
- Knows where the following body parts are- head, eyes, nose, hair, tongue, mouth, belly, knees
- Can point out the head and nose on other people when asked
- Follows simple commands like "can you give me the book, please"
- Favorite toys are magnets, sidewalk chalk, her drawer in the kitchen and the wagon
- Loves to be outside and playing with water
- Favorite foods are cheese, cheese and more cheese!! She will not drink milk since we took the bottle away, so she has been eating a lot!
- Can say the following words- Mama, Mom, Dada, Nina, Abuela, up, this, car and duck
- Can tell us what the duck, cow, sheep and lion say/sound like
- Uses the signs for- more, finished, open and milk (when she drank it)
